In the second quarter of 2024, the virtual fitness landscape on Android has seen varied performance among the top programs in the United States. Here's a snapshot of how these applications fared, with insights from Sensor Tower.

komoot - hike, bike & run showed a fluctuating revenue trend with a peak in mid-April at approximately $722K. Downloads for the app saw a decrease from 225K in early April to 66K by the end of June. Weekly active users started at 1.64M but experienced a downward trend, ending the quarter at 1.17M.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a revenue peak in early April at over $500K, with a notable spike to $458K in mid-June. The app's downloads stayed relatively stable, ranging from 69K to 39K. Weekly active users began at 1.15M and showed minor fluctuations, concluding the quarter at 1.14M.

Fitbit saw its revenue peak in mid-April at $387K, with a significant rise again in late June reaching $307K. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, hovering around 16K to 11K. Active users declined from 1.3M at the start of April to 1.13M by the quarter's end.

Freeletics: Fitness Workouts showed its highest revenue in mid-April at $310K, with a dip to $24K in early June. Downloads were minimal, with the highest at 12K in early April and lowest at 3K towards the quarter's end. Weekly active users ranged from 198K in mid-May to 148K in early June.

AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run had a steady revenue with a slight peak in late May at $120K. Downloads saw a decline from 122K in early April to 49K by late June. Weekly active user counts started at 522K, peaking at 553K in early April, and ended the quarter at 433K.
